Alison Hanley

Clinical Director

Alison began her career working in home-based ABA programs in Wisconsin in 2012 and completed her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and BCBA certification in 2016.

  • She has experience working with children from early childhood through adulthood and has worked with individuals across the spectrum.

    As Program Director, Alison supervises our team of BCBAs and BCBA candidates in Illinois.

    In addition, she provides support in the areas of programming, parent training, and supervision of registered behavior therapists (RBTs).

    She frequently attends conferences and consults with other BCBAs to ensure the CABS team is continuously growing in our knowledge and applications of ABA.

 

Brooke Christenson BCBA

Training Coordinator

Brooke started working with children with special needs as a summer camp director during the summer of her sophomore year in college, taught early childhood for eleven years and began officially working for CABS in the fall of 2015.

  • Since then, she has been a registered behavior technician (RBT) working her way up to a case manager and eventually receiving her BCBA in the winter of 2021. However, Brooke’s passion for teaching was always at the surface and she found that she loved teaching new human service staff. So instead of going into case management, Brooke became the Training Coordinator at CABS. In addition, she manages the Safety Care and CPR program at CABS and is certified as a CPR instructor.

 

Kendall Fleck BCBA

Clinical Quality Lead

Kendall began her career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2016 while she completed her undergraduate degree at Purdue University.

  • After graduation Kendall joined the CABS team and continued her work as an ABA therapist until she completed her Master’s degree in ABA and BCBA certification in 2019. 

    Kendall has practiced in both clinic and home settings and worked with individuals ranging from 2 to 22 years old. Kendall enjoys utilizing the principles of ABA to teach children and young adults verbal and nonverbal communication, social emotional reciprocity, replacement behaviors, and functional living skills. Additionally Kendall has experience in collaborating with schools and has grown her expertise in teaching learners the skills needed to benefit from less restrictive learning environments such as independence, perseverance and focus, regulation, and generalization skills. 

    As Clinical Quality Lead Kendall is dedicated to providing exceptional, robust, and compassionate supervision to the case managers. Kendall supervises and supports the case managers in client outcomes to ensure treatment goals align with creating socially significant changes for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities.  

 

Laura Fontana BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Laura began her ABA career working as a RBT at CABS in May 2017. She received her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and BCBA certification in 2020.

  • She has experience working with children from early childhood through adults and has worked with individuals across the spectrum.  Her passion is teaching communication and replacement behaviors to decrease problem behaviors.  As a BCBA, Laura provides supervision to registered behavior therapists (RBTs).  Laura continues to grow and learn within the ABA field and attends various ABA CEUss and conferences.

 

Lina Jurkiewicz BCBA

Behavior Analyst

After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Indiana University with a minor in psychology in 2018, Lina began her ABA career as a 1:1 registered behavioral technician at C.A.B.S.

  • While working at C.A.B.S., Lina pursued her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism and earned her BCBA certification in 2022. Lina has experience working with a variety of learners on the spectrum in both the home and clinic settings. While Lina loves working with individuals of all levels across the spectrum, she specifically enjoys teaching early learner skills such as imitation, referencing and requesting.

 

Sami Corcoran BCBA

Behavior Analyst

Sami graduated from Grand Valley State University with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology.

  • Sami was actively involved in clubs on campus working with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities where she developed a passion for serving others. Sami started at C.A.B.S. as an RBT and became a float therapist to gain a well-rounded experience working with diverse ages and abilities. Sami has obtained a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Sami is currently a BCBA who works with various ages of individuals ranging from early childhood to early adulthood. Sami has a passion for teaching individuals replacement skills, teaching tolerance of stressors to increase flexibility, and to teach social and emotional regulation skills.

 
 

Kailani Bartley

Behavior Analyst

  • Kailani got her Bachelors in Commercial music from Millikin University. With hopes to work with children with autism Kailani took a job as an RBT where she fell in love with the science of applied behavior analysis. She moved to the Chicago area and started at CABS as an RBT where she was able to gain access to high quality supervision, after gaining her masters in applied behavior analysis with a master's certificate in autism, she became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She has a passion for teaching early learning skills such as early play skills such as peek-a-boo and other cause and affect social play. She loves to teach communication skills through vocalization and AAC through natural environment teaching and discrete trial training. Further, Kailani has a passion for working with individuals who display dangerous behaviors and teach them functional replacement behaviors.

    In her free time Kailani loves to, paint, draw, write music, and perform with her friends. Kailani spends time with her husband enjoying nature with their dog, Emmie.
